GM的关于H.globosiflora 的小文章
在许多年中，人们认为H.globosiflora 的产地被限制在Botterkloof南边的Doornbosch 农场的Doorn River桥一带。
现在，它在北部被发现了新的产地，而且是一种特别吸引人的种类，生长在Nieuwoudtville 的西北部的Nuweplaas 农场。
在Sutherland 旁的Ouberg Pass 的东南部，还发现了它的一个变种。
在文献中，它常和H.nortieri联系在一起，甚至被认为是H.nortieri的一种。
这种联系实际上是错误的，是由对外表和产地的非常肤浅的观察得出的。
H.globosiflora 的特点是又粗又短的小花管（花剑？）。此处应是指花冠筒，如下图。感谢@歌吹花友指出

这种典型特点在它的近亲H.pehlemanniae ,H.albispina ,H.devriesii 中出现，而H.nortieri 群体中没有这一特点。
H.globosiflora在栽培中不容易维持原状（易徒？），而且很难养成原产地中紧凑的模样。
竖起的叶片由许多凸起而透明的窗构成，叶边缘有微小而半透明的毛刺。
它是标准的冬型种，夏天只需要很少的水分，防止根部脱水即可。

Mini article by Gerhard Marx.Haworthia globosiflora was considered forseveral years to be restricted to the type locality area near the Doorn Riverbridge on the farm Doornbosch south of the Botterkloof .It is currently knownto occur in a few localities to the north and a particularly attractive form ofit grows on the farm Nuweplaas north-west of Nieuwoudtville.A somewhat distinctvariety of it is found to the south-east in the Ouberg Pass near Sutherland (=Haworthia latericia Hayashi).The plants are often associated in literature withHaworthia nortieri and it has even been suggested to be a variety of it.Theseassociations are incorrect and only based upon very superficial observationsinfluenced by the somewhat similar appearance of the plants in the wild andgeographical proximity.Haworthia globosifora is distinguished by having veryshort and thick floret tubes.This feature is also characteristically shared byclose relatives Haworthia pehlemanniae, Haworthia albispina and Haworthiadevriesii but is not found in the Haworthia nortieri group.Haworthiaglobosiflora is not easy to maintain in cultivation and it is difficult to growit as compact and attractive as plants are in the wild.Theerect leaves can be very attractively patterned by numerous rounded raisedpellucid windows and minute translucent teeth along the margins.
