本新手最近正在学习与原始种有关的知识，为方便广大新手共同学习，老玩家温故知新，于是决定每天翻译一篇小文章。全部文字均由自己翻译，难免有疏漏之处，望指正。

H. lanosa是广泛分布、变化多端的Arachnoidea种群下的一个亚种。

它生长在Vergelegen附近的白色的enon conglomerate上。（注：一种砾岩）

它是毛茸茸的，有些像H. aranea或H. candida但是通常要大一些。它长在山坡的北部而H. aranea更倾向于凉爽的南部。

Arachnoidea种群十分复杂，关于它争议一直不断，如何将所有相关的植物放入一个单一的品种中。

尽管这些争议常常是有效的，但它们可能会带来混乱，植物的品种得不到很好的区分。比如H. decipiens和H. jansenvillensis。

Haworthia lanosa is a member of the widespread and variableArachnoidea aggregate. This species grows on white enon conglomerate in thevicinity of Vergelegen. The plants are hairy and somewhat similar to Haworthiaaranea or Haworthia candida but are generally larger and grow on the northernface of a hillside whereas the smaller Haworthia aranea usually prefers thecooler southern aspect. The aggregate Arachnoidea is complex and arguments vanbe made to just lump all the related plants under a single species.Althoughthese arguments are often valid, it is likely to cause great confusion whereplants link into other species e.g. Haworthia decipiens and Haworthiajansenvillensis.
