H. azurea属于一个有些令人迷惑的过渡种类，拥有H. decipiens，H. gracilis和H. cooperi的一些特征。
作者显然试图将它归类于H. gracilis var. viridis (MBB 6600 + JDV 97/144, Paardepoort)，正如MBB所做的那样；后来又成了H. decipiens var. minor( MBB 6620 + JDV 97/156, Sapkamma)，最近又归类于H. cooperi var. viridis (Smith 6967 Paardepoort)。
林雅彦博士发现Paardepoort的自然环境与H. hamata的相同，并只认为Grootpoort/Sapkamma Poort的植物可以作为H. azurea的代表。
IB将起列入H. azurea并作为H. azurea的种群的唯一一员。

Haworthia azurea - Dr M. Hayashi, A few paragraphs by GerhardMarx. Haworthia azurea falls into a somewhat confusing transitionalcategory and shares features of the Haworthia decipiens Haworthiagracilis and Haworthia cooperi. It is evident that authors struggled to placeit with certainty as Bayer first listed it as Haworthia gracilis var viridis (MBB 6600 + JDV 97/144, Paardepoort) and later as Haworthia decipiens var minor( MBB 6620 + JDV 97/156, Sapkamma) and recently lumped it as part of theHaworthia cooperi complex as Haworthia cooperi var viridis ( Smith 6967Paardepoort). Dr. Hayashi sees the Paardepoort element as Haworthia hamata andonly considers the Grootpoort/ Sapkamma Poort plants as representative ofHaworthia azurea. Ingo Breuer lists it as Haworthia azurea and as only memberof Aggregate Azurea. Haworthia azurea is a small solitary or clustering,blue-green plant occurring on steep northern and eastern slopes of the Klein WinterhoekMountains between Kleinpoort in thewest and Kirkwoodin the east. It grows infiltered shade of bushes and in the wild ranges in colour from blue-green todull green-brown, depending upon the amount of sunlight it receives. 谢谢观看。
